Review on 🎨 Dive into the World of Art with DIY Painting by Numbers for Adults – Frameless & Beginner-Friendly! (16x20 Inch) by Shantel Griffin

Definitely NOT for beginners!

If you are just starting out in paint by numbers, *DO NOT* start with this model. There are literally hundreds of small, tiny, irregularly shaped gaps that need to be filled. They are so, so small that you can hardly read them. Some reviews recommend a magnifying glass. I haven't used it, but it can't hurt. I've been working on mine every day for a month and it's still not finished. Also, the thumbnail is a bit of a lie. I think the thumbnail was an interpretation of the painting in Photoshop. The background colors are lighter and more vibrant than the thumbnail suggests and doesn't really look like the background. Trees are not as detailed and crisp. All seem to blend into the background and not take center stage like they should. Finally, the canvas is folded, not folded. This left an ugly crease down the middle that I have never been able to iron out in my entire life. (And I went out and bought an ironing board and iron just to iron it out. It was useless.) On the plus side, the shipping was super fast and it's definitely lasted my time during this pandemic. I will most likely not finish it right away, if ever, as I have other paint by numbers that are more beginner friendly. This is a bit frustrating at first. I'll come back to this when I have more experience.
