Very functional and light. It expands with each "hand" to create enough space to sit or lie under the tray. The lip on the tray is actually wide enough to hold a Macboook Air without getting in your hands/fingers, but the two sliding tabs make the grip more secure and can be slid to the side or easily removed. And we're glad we don't have unnecessary fans. (If your laptop doesn't overheat on a table, it won't overheat on a tablet either!)
