After returning another brand with bluetooth output that doesn't play vinyl I decided reliable recording playback was my first requirement followed by bluetooth output , Automation and Appearance . In my opinion this model looks better than the previous models but still not as cool as the retro style you see in the Crosley player. However, this one is solid. It plays solid, it's automated (you hit a button and the arrow goes to the first track and stops after the last track), and this model has the advantage of being able to connect to any Bluetooth speaker, so you can take it anywhere can place. If you want to hook it up to your stereo, you can still do that, but you don't have to. It was a gift for my best friend along with some records (Van Morrison and Bear's Den). She loves it and used her entire record collection from her youth to introduce her children to the world of vinyl. This is the best basic player in my opinion as it is the only one that reliably plays recordings and has Bluetooth output and automation.
