Review on Premium OXO Good Grips Pro Nonstick Dishwasher Safe Frying Pan, 10-inch - Black by Michael Floyd

It's good! good for woks and frying pans

All right, I recommend. I'm very careful with my pan. I also have 8 inches. I never use metal on it and put paper towels in between to store them. To keep other pans from scratching my pans. I never rub pans when washing. I don't like pans with Teflon non-stick coating. But I hope PFOA makes them a little bit safer. I bet they still have some PFAS. I would never put this in the oven even if it says it's safe! I don't trust this, but I'm glad I now know more about not overheating those nonstick pans (I learned from ATK). However, one day I accidentally overheated one of the pans because I didn't realize I had a stove on maximum, which was my stupid mistake. But noticing it, they immediately removed it from the fire and tried to cool it by fanning it with a fan. I wiped it off immediately after it cooled and then started again. The frying pan was ok. Oh, and I've never met pots of cold water! Just let them cool naturally. This is a good quality pan. I had a cheaper one that I threw away, the coating came off in less than 3 months. I've had my 8" for a few months longer and it's ok. The bottom of the outside of the pot is a little damaged but that's ok as long as it's not damaged inside. Oh I wouldn't use commercial oil sprays either, unless you put natural oil in a spray bottle. Do not use commercial oil sprays as they will ruin the pan! I've used it once or twice on my smaller pan and it got sticky and weird and it partially covered the outside of the pan It doesn't wash off easily and I don't think they are designed for these pans (or other pans, maybe stainless steel is fine) I ended up buying an oil spray bottle and used that instead, it works well and I use a small amount of oil. I know more about these non-stick pans, so now I'm more careful with them. I'll use other pots and pans, but not just di ese, such as stainless steel, ceramic, cast iron, carbon steel. But they're good for some of the things I do. Have fun cooking!
