WHY DID NOT WE THINK ABOUT THIS BEFORE?. Soooo we bought a house (an old house). and found that there was always a bad smell or odor near the front door and we kept thinking it was a collapsed sewer line or something. So uncomfortable with a guest. but we didn't get any backups? Or plumbing problems? So we investigated and found it was a sewer/vent. Come on, Revain, and I swear. NOTHING since then! PROBLEM SOLVED! The vent pipe of our chimney is made of cast iron (3 inch). My husband drilled the inside to match and used black gorilla tape around the cast iron to hold the 4 inch fitting in place just because it just needs to sit over your chimney vent. sooo We are happy. LOVE IT! PLEASE TRY THIS BEFORE SPENDING. WILL SAVE YOU A WORLD OF PROBLEMS AND $$$.
