Review on Tool Home Abrasive Wheel Sander Diameter by Carl Henderson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Generally not a game.

The adhesive makes them so resilient that they scrape and scuff a lot more than traditional hard abrasive discs. Cylinders are inferior to thinner petal wheels. You can barely get sandpaper to the point where it becomes exposed. It's strongly discouraged if you're trying to grind the inside of a rounded object like a spoon (my intended goal). But if you want to grind/clean a hole in a block of wood, that's great. I'm not sure if anyone ever has to do that. Also, they are very big. I was expecting something less permanent for the finer sanding that people usually do with a Dremel (80 grit I know, but it acts like a rasp. More aggressive than my 60 grit sandpaper).

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Something different
