For years, I'd been using an LG V30+, and when it finally died on me, I decided to upgrade. Miniaturization, wireless charging, always-on connectivity, and storage capacity of 256 GB or more were also priorities. I don't know what more to say; it seems like smartphone technology has matured to the point where upgrading to a new model no longer offers a significantly different user experience. The V30+ was just as quick, had much better battery life, and could make short work of any contemporary chore. The connectors and, more crucially, the conversational speaker forced me to make a switch. Quickly summarizing the most salient points: The screen is excellent, on par with the V30 +'s, and easy to read both outside and inside. The sound quality is superb while using the in-ear monitor, subpar when using standard headphones, and on par when using bluetooth. If the receiver supports the LDAC codec, the quality is adequate. In that case, I'd have to say no. I haven't looked too closely, but it seems that LDAC is still the norm and that AptX HD is still missing. In regards to performance, I have not noticed any major changes compared to my previous smartphone (Snapdragon 835, 4/128 Gb). In addition, everything is quick, easy, and timely. Pictures look as expected: nice when using the primary camera, deformed when using the wide angle, and dark when using the zoom. In general, the Honor 20 Pro (wife's) performance pales in comparison to the rest of the scene. When compared to LG and Honor in this regard, the video quality is superb without the usage of the zoom camera. Zuma is completely meaningless, but it becomes quite dark and the white balance seems off. Yet, the picture quality of the primary one, when displayed in the usual 1080p 60 fps, is a visual treat to behold, especially on a huge TV. It is possible to create films. In terms of functionality, we also receive a perfect score. Plus, the one I like best is always front and center; you can use a stylus if you want; you can hook it up to a computer or television (via DeX); it works well with Microsoft; you can customize it with a wide variety of skins; and there are plenty of options. Easily accessible; relaxing in general. From the out of the ordinary — a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. It does what it's supposed to do, but it's not quite as quick or precise as the one on my old phone. Even though it's convenient, face unlock isn't secure. The exterior is soft and pleasant to rest on.
