It was packaged so well that initially I thought I'd write a review about how immaculate and beautiful it was. Upon cursory inspection, it was scratched, even cut in one place. The hook system was not easy to install. I found the drywall very difficult to pierce, even following the instructions of rocking it back and forth. I had to grab a drill and start walking up and down the stairs and I accidentally dropped the cornice. It immediately crumpled, catching the white paint from the window sill. I'm disappointed. I read some reviews and hoped it would work because I really wanted gold. My advice: keep going. You will end up hanging it traditionally and it will still look flimsy and plastic when hung.
