One of these wrist coils hung on my keychain for years because I found the original at a flea market. It finally broke a few months ago. It's a great way to have keys handy without actually having them in your hand, and still be able to pick up and inspect goods with both hands, handle bags, walk a dog on a leash. etc. It was a common neck ache carrying keys in my hand whilst looking for a suitable replacement for a broken coil on my wrist, I've seen some in discount stores but the plastic the coil was made of was thinner and saw from cheaper. This particular reel is heavier and I feel safe on it with my bulky wrench.
