First of all, this is not a high-end telescope. If you've seen the price, you should know this. That being said I was expecting slightly better quality for the price but it's not far enough to lose more than one star. The carrying case that it comes in is handy for transporting/storing the telescope. It is very sweet. The tripod and telescope appear to be reasonably made/not so cheap that they fall apart after the first few uses. The phone mount is a bit poor but I like that they added it here. What I don't like/would like to improve: A mount on a tripod that allows you to rotate the telescope backwards. and bent forward. The metal is soft enough that I can bend it back, but it's not quite straight, which is a bit annoying. It's a plastic material that could easily be crossed and destroyed if you're not careful. The eyecups and picture quality are okay, but just not amazing - all but the largest make you squint a little when you look at them again. They don't let much light through (I have binoculars with better image quality and the same magnification considering binoculars cost twice as much as this telescope). Either way, if $120 isn't too much for you, this is a great telescope for beginners - it gets the job done. If you're looking for a high-end telescope, or want your money to go a little further, I'd recommend looking a little more.
