UPDATE: I've given this rubber band the benefit of the doubt. If the manufacturer has changed something, then surely for the better, right? No way. I was barely halfway through my block when BOOM, released (broke) the rubber band, flew off the battery box, ripped out the wire and fell to the ground. THIS IS A MAJOR SECURITY HAZARD! DO NOT MOUNT THIS PRODUCT ON YOUR BIKE! There is another video of these lights showing the battery box attaching to the spokes with nice clips that bolt on for a secure fit. The manufacturer changed the product and now uses a glorified rubber strap to hold the battery compartment in place. It will definitely rattle off every little bump you hit! Check out my video and see for yourself! You break off and go back. Too bad because aside from the battery compartment, the rest of the kit is excellent. I just can't rely on a piece of rubber to hold this box in place!
