They worked great in my Hitachi 18 gauge stapler with no jams when using many thousands of staples. Using these staples outdoors or in a humid environment has advantages over the typical galvanized or coated staples you see. Even the best galvanized surface will show small spots of rust after a year or so, which easily eliminates this problem. Yes, they are more expensive, but there is no need to worry about rust spots and possible rusting, although they are worth every penny when working outdoors or in a humid environment. Highly recommended.
