Works like new! (READ MANUFACTURE + TIPS BELOW!)

Repaired a 1995 Ford Ranger 2.3L with this that was having intermittent starting problems. Before the replacement, the customer checked/charged the battery, installed a new starter and new battery cables. The problem with not starting decreased, but still appeared periodically. This repair fixed the problem 100%. BEFORE REPLACEMENT: - clutch depressed, key turned, no handle, key turned, no handle, key turned, no handle - clutch bled, clutch pressed hard to floor, key turned, engine starts/runs, engine starts/runs -- EVERY TIME !** USEFUL TIPS! **1. This part and the OEM part do not have the same disassembly methods.2. This part has a retaining cover that needs to be carefully lifted/removed from the 4 locking notches (covers the entire back of the device).3. The OEM part has a thin plastic insert that slides up and out of the keyway on the back.4. DO NOT remove the clutch pedal or piston rod to replace this part.5. Simply pull the cable from the OEM, insert the insert at the back, remove the OEM - then attach and lock the new part, mount the retaining cover and connect the wiring harness. With a small flathead screwdriver + LED light, this repair takes 5-10 minutes the first time and less than 2 minutes if you ever need to do it again. Much luck!
