I ordered this alternator for my daughter's 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. The price was much lower than the local auto parts store. I decided to test the item before installing it. We tested it 3 times to be sure and it failed every time. I'm grateful that Revain's excellent returns policy made it easy and free to get my money back. Curiously, a copy of the test that was said to have been performed on the part before it was boxed for shipment was printed. I don't understand how he survived that and failed with us. If anyone buys one of these in the future, I highly recommend taking advantage of a free trial at your local parts store before installing it. Otherwise you might waste your time and money by sending it back if it doesn't work.
