Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ IEMAI TPU Filament for 3D Printing by Jerome Brooks

Possibly my new favorite filament, NO

First off, let me say that I love the aesthetic of this PLA carbon fiber. This gives prints an amazing matte dark gray appearance that is remarkably effective at reducing the visibility of layer lines and ring artifacts. I've produced some of the most beautiful prints I've ever printed with this material without having to do anything special other than install a hardened steel 0.4mm nozzle on the printer to account for the abrasiveness of the carbon fiber filaments being cut. to be included in this material. It performs just like any other PLA as far as slicer settings go, only honestly it prints better (at least at the modest speeds I use). I can't speak of any added strength or stiffness in my prints with this filament as I haven't measured it at all. The spool is wound perfectly but I encountered the problem that the print with the filament broke during the first 50g or so of use. I noticed a spot on the filament that was maybe 3mm long that was probably about 2mm in diameter and I just noticed it mentally and continued to print. fail, but not at all in the way I imagined. After a few cold drags, I fished out a small piece of what I thought was polyimide tape or something. I'm sure it's just one of those accidents, but it made me a little suspicious. Overall I'm very very impressed with this thread and will probably try another IEMAI product once I've used up this spool which will be so fast soon.
