Review on Canson Artist Watercolor Side Wire by Amber Perez

We draw newbies who bought this notebook to facilitate all the work we've done while social distancing and we are very happy with it! Here are the highlights: * QUALITY: The quality of the paper is excellent. The pages are very dense and the design from one sheet does not smudge onto other sheets. To prolong the life of the notebook, we found that we could draw on both sides of each sheet after the first page was completely dry. No complaints about the paper itself. *SIZE: We bought a 5.5" x 8.5" notebook and were a little surprised and disappointed at how small the notebook and its pages were. Each page is about the size of my outstretched hand (see photo), which doesn't leave much room for large pictures that we might want to hang. Also, the relatively large gap between the notebook's spiral binding and the perforated edge (see photo) makes the paper size even smaller than 5.5 inches (closer to 5.33 inches by my own measurements). Can't complain too much about the size as it's pretty close to what I ordered, but I wish I'd sat down and measured the space on a piece of paper beforehand so I know what I'm getting into. The impression of this notebook is that it is high quality but small paper. Next time I order watercolor paper I plan to stick with this brand but get a larger notepad. Happy painting!
