Advertised that it can heat up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. I turned on the heater and left it on for 10 minutes. Came back and when he hadn't even left a mark he put it on the back of his hand for a full 3 seconds. It was hot but not below 200 degrees. You can make a mark on the marshmallow. Otherwise not much.
