I bought this vane pump to replace the pump that came with the 35 gallon tank/pump I bought here at Revain. This pump worked well the first 4-5 times I used it. Turning became increasingly difficult until he stopped turning. I've disassembled it several times and made small adjustments here and there to no avail. Interestingly, the suction on this Lumax pump is 1" NPT threads and the discharge is 19mm (3/4" but with metric threads). Since I have a goldenrod filter on the inlet for my diesel, I had to cut off the pump inlet for 3/4" NPT. It worked fine the first time. Hope it lasts. Cautiously optimistic.
