Review on KINGOU Luxury PU Leather Handlebar Tape for Fixed Gear/Road Bike - With Reflective Plug by Adam Bates

I bought this strap to match the saddle on my Trek Emonda. The kit included two rolls of bar tape, two strips of finishing tape and two bar end caps. The tape feels good. It has faux leather trim on one side and black foam on the other. Please note that there is no glue on the tape, so you need to keep it taut when you wind it up. The tape was easy to apply. I was able to tighten it tightly without risking tearing. It creases when you wrap it around the shaft so you need to keep an eye on it. The tape was enough to fully wrap my 40cm bars using the standard derailleur method. Finishing tape feels cheap and fragile. I couldn't use it as it turned gray if pulled too hard. The end caps are very nice but they are chrome plated and don't match the style of my bike. I ended up using the finishing tape and end caps I had on hand. Installation and quality are good. From this point of view, you will be satisfied with this volume. Now the downside is the feel of the tape. I was hoping it would be matte but it is glossy. It feels cheap when you hold it in your hands, and I'm afraid it gets slippery when wet from sweat or rain. From this point of view, I think the product could be better.
