These small baking pans are cute and unusual, but they are not suitable for cupcakes. The fat doesn't ooze through the cups, which is great, and they come out of the oven just as nicely as they came in. However, the problem I have is getting the cupcake out of the cup. It won't separate like traditional cupcake liners, and since it's a sturdy little cup, you'll have to pull hard to break it apart. It gets messy when the cake is frozen and nicely decorated. These cups are great for ice cream, but not cupcakes. Stick to traditional paper cases when baking cupcakes or cupcakes.
