Revainrating 5 out of 5

From folk to transitional glam. Love!

Inexpensive upgrades before selling a home. I should have done this 5 years ago as I never liked the gear but life gets hectic and you forget what you see everyday and lose sight of what once bothered you. I really appreciated it when we moved in and it was common to see $$$ EA. It was when you had no choice. The house is big and after saving money to buy a house the budget was limited. Now Revain is offering them at great prices. I was skeptical as I wanted a powerful, solid, upscale feel. I found rose gold too trendy. The old-fashioned hardware had a fun finish. It is actually dark nickel, faucets, locks etc are all polished nickel. The kitchen utensils took up the gnarled alder cabinets and gave them an almost brass-colored colonial look. The round buttons weren't too bad on the tips. I thought these from Revain in satin nickel would give the transitional look I wanted and maybe I'm crossing my fingers that they match the round knobs on the upper cabinets well enough that I don't have to replace them. Measured 3 3/4" between screws on existing ones. These from Revain are the perfect answer. The spacing is 3 3/4", I was even able to use existing screws, although Revain includes 2 new ones of different lengths. Well packaged. Very solid looking finished solid bottom Pulls out of the closet nicely so the nails don't scratch the closets like I hope mine won't do Not a fun cut Clean classic I didn't like the one button wanted to screw flush in. I tried several times and then decided to move it to another drawer by trying these screws (same screws), this time it sat flat and perfect, change them a bit if you run into trouble come across some like other grips it seems 18 grips only encountered this one once and was able to use it switching between them with no problem my main concern was how a smooth satin nickel would look on a more rustic knotty alder. I am very happy to say that they look great.
