I received this book today and I love it! I love old patterns and I have my grandmother's books from the 1920's. Some reviewers have noted that instructions in older templates can be a bit unclear. I've found that with a little effort and a little imagination, this problem can be solved. My guess is that these reviewers probably weren't working with really old templates. Try them! I am sure you will find them challenging. I love the story it offers and the materials it offers. I had to learn through trial and error which materials worked best. I also knit t-shirts for my kids when they never heard of it! I wish I knew about lanolin treatment
