Well made pot and stand; other consumables are ok

. So if you really want to make quality candles, you need to have the same wax and wicks. This will not happen with this kit. The size (diameter) of the wick, the materials and wax used determine which container diameter is appropriate. So with this kit it's just a guessing game. The pot is excellent though - very large and can make several regular candles or a few large ones at once. It's well built and I've even used it with a magnetic stirrer.
