I've wanted to assemble a cordless tool holder and charging station for a long time and finally got around to it. Battery holders are great for storing my charged batteries. Fit and grip is good on OEM Dewalt batteries as well as regular clones that I have. They can be attached to a tool/tool belt or surface mounted like mine. One complaint is that I wish the surface mount holes were pre-drilled or molded. There are places to attach screws and a recess for them, but you have to drill them yourself. I also have 12 volt batteries and while they fit in and stay good enough for my use, they are definitely not rated for that type of battery. In general they are well made and seem to be quite durable. Now I have more holders than batteries so I figure if one of them breaks or wears out I have spares but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. If you need to carry backup batteries on your tool belt or just need a convenient and safe way to mount them in your workshop, tool box or trailer, this is a great solution.
