At the very end of last winter my favorite snow brush and ice scraper broke. So I ordered a replacement. I like a lot about it, but there are a few things I don't like. Pros: • Long handle that folds down to a more convenient length for storage • Aluminum handle • Foam handle to prevent gloves from freezing to the aluminum handle • Pivoting brush head • Deep/long brush bristles • Fully dismountable for storage in tighter spaces Cons : • The plastic holder with the lever that controls the extension wasn't glued properly, I had to fix it with epoxy • The ice scraper is flimsy, cheap plastic and will almost certainly break in our harsh winters here • The pivot point on the brushes seems flimsy, probably plastic too. Here's what broke on my old brush. Works fine, but here's the question. How long it will take? I won't know until I get through the winter with him. I can always order another brand so I have a spare for this winter. Maybe it's good that it makes me skeptical because I'm more prepared than I'd believe. I give it 4 stars mainly for potential and reasonable price.
