I had crazy squirrels that decided to make my attic their home - by climbing up the insulation covering a refrigerant line from my heat pump to the air handler. I bought this to cover up the line - which it did perfectly well - at a much lower cost than what electrical supply houses were charging. The fittings were abundant - we didn't use all of them. I did not install them myself - the vinyl siding guy had to fit damage caused by the squirrels so he just installed the ducting as well - but he said it worked out fine. The only unhappy ones are.the squirrels!
