I use it in a one bedroom apartment with stucco walls (that block the signal) with my AT&T Uverse TV (Motorola set top box) . I've had them for about a week now and I've found that the real trick is where you place the receiver (which picks up the remote signal from the second room and radiates IR to the Uverse box). I need to place it directly in front of the cable box so that the "front" of the receiver faces the remote sensor on the cable box. However, this prevents me from using the remote when I'm in the main room, so I have to push it aside. I'm sure I'll eventually find a happy medium to keep it. When placed correctly, they work great. I have no lags or missed orders. Regardless of where you leave the receiver, setup couldn't be simpler. You just take them out of the box, plug them into any AC adapter and plug them in.
