Review on πŸ”€ High-Quality Twidec Position Toggle Switch - KCD2 203 with Years of Reliability by Dustin Keller

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Poor quality switches break easily when reused

They are of poor quality and short-lived. Bought 2, the first broke during installation. I take some of that responsibility as I've been squeezing the spade lugs quite hard while wiring the 12ga Romex for the two devices I'm plugging and unplugging. However, the tabs on the back of the plug are not strong enough for the rated voltage of 250V at 15 amps. With the 2nd switch I hooked it up more carefully and bent the Romex wires and it worked great for about a week. We were toggling two devices twice a day, from position 1 to off and then to position 2 and within a week the switch became intermittent and the internal connection seemed unreliable as we now have to press the toggle switch in a specific way until it does case is not connected. Eventually it loses contact and turns itself off. Cheap Chinese junk. DO NOT BUY unless you plan to use the Switch frequently. Also, you might think that when the toggle switch is in the middle OFF position, the interior light will turn off and turn on when you toggle to position 1 or 2. That's not true. The light is on all the time, causing the seesaw to get very hot from the heat from the interior lights. Stay away from this product.
