With a metal rod or stick inserted into the eye of this drill, boys can poke holes in their logs to tie them together with rope, or use them to tie them to the ground by threading the rope through the hole . Pretty easy to use and easy to maintain. Don't use it too often, so don't worry about it tarnishing or needing sharpening. Very happy with it and highly recommend!
