does not have a 1 " socket

I'm not sure if every Amazon seller gets them from the same source but this is the second drill bit I have purchased that does not have a 1" socket . It's 0.9", which prevents you from trying to sharpen your eye and using it to make dowels/rivets.

Pros
  • Auger Bit
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Ideal for scouting pioneer projects!

Need a drill for Pioneer Explorers Group (along with saws, axes, planes, hammers, chisels, etc.). This is good value for money. With a metal rod or stick inserted into the eye of this drill, boys can poke holes in their logs to tie them together with rope, or use them to tie them to the ground by threading the rope through the hole . Pretty easy to use and easy to maintain. Don't use it too often, so don't worry about it tarnishing or needing sharpening. Very happy with it and highly recommend!

Pros
  • Tools and Household Goods
Cons
  • Flimsy
