I hate to give a bad review but this one deserves it. I was excited to get this for my new bird. It looked promising and had great reviews. Unfortunately, when I opened the box, I noticed a lot of flaws. The metal tray was all crumpled. No big deal - it will still peel off. Then I noticed the wooden parts. Some parts were glued together in the box when I received this item. It also looked like the person who did it didn't have safety in mind when doing it. The forest was not safe for my bird, let alone the child. Serious grinding was required. I had to chip off large, loose pieces of wood left over from a man drilling holes. The perch holes are crooked so I can't even get it fully attached. In general. I would not recommend that. Just make your own. The amount of work I had to put into this item to make it safe and good for my bird really wasn't worth the money I paid. It was more annoying than anything.
