Review on Crescent Creative Products HIP24 Perfect by Joshua Beaule

Not as impressed as I was hoping to be honest.

Don't get me wrong, great idea. That's just mounting on this isn't enough. At first I thought it was the Crescent Instrumental Company, not Crescent Creative. So I expected it to be similar to their wrenches and other tools. The plastic on it is pretty flimsy and trying to set it up properly can be tricky. To open it, you need to almost completely unscrew two levers, and if you do not do this, you risk twisting the lever, and then everything will not be smooth. Once you've got your hands out and the hooks lined up, you need to make sure the suction cup is as tight as possible, because if one side moves a little, you're in a creek of low lines. Then you have to hold it exactly where you want it and make sure you're still level and then press pretty hard to make a mark and if you don't you better hope you do it again get it where you want it before you start again as the tool has no way to make a pencil mark or anything anywhere for you to line it up again. I have hung more pictures, mirrors, two contact points, a wire, mirrors over 6ft wide and I would love for this to work properly but it definitely needs some work on both the material and the little things like that Level. be a bit longer and maybe add a "mark" in some places so you know beforehand where you want to hang it. While it costs a bit more, aluminum instead of flexible plastic would also be a welcome change. Again, I like the idea, only the actual product needs improvement.
