Review on DIYhz 12 Pipe Aluminum Heat Exchanger Liquid Cooling Radiator Water Cooling Computer CPU PC Laser System DC12V Black 120Mm by Matt Watkins

Didn't come with connectors or tubes

I ordered the Copper version for my son's HP Omen gaming computer which is liquid cooled, but still runs up the fans pretty high sometimes. I am hoping this will cool it down some and allow us not to use the fans so high and noisy.I'll have to report back on that because this did not come with fittings or tubes. I had read other reviews that indicated that it came with fittings. No problem, I will get some for it tomorrow. In the meantime the radiator looks very nice and high quality. I can see the copper from inside the fittings with my phone flash cranked up. I can't tell about the fins without scratching the paint. Speaking of the paint, the DIYhz Water Cooling Computer Radiator, 12 Pipe Thick Copper Heat Exchanger Liquid Cooling Radiator G1/4 Thread Heat Row Sink 120mm for CPU has a nice thick coat of black paint.I haven't leak tested yet, but it looks very well made. The size is excellent and should fit in the PC case, but if not then it will mount nicely on the back of the pc. I will also use a fan on this as well. I have a low profile, VERY QUIET fan to go along with it so that we can just run the fan all the time and try to keep the liquid from getting too hot without cranking up a fan loudly. This radiator holds a pretty good volume of water so I believe it will, with sheer volume alone, keep our CPU under control.I can't say that I have rigorously tested it yet, but based on what I have seen so far, it looks and feels like a quality piece of kit. You cannot go wrong with the heat exchange properties of copper and the workmanship looks good. I would guardedly recommend this for cooling a computer. If you have any further questions, please reach out to me and I will try to answer them right away. Thank you and I hope you find my review helpful.
