Easier than just changing TPS

If you need to change the throttle position sensor, spend a few bucks more and replace the entire throttle body. This is a very simple switch. My 170,000 mile Impala 07 runs like new. Keep in mind that it will take a few days for the computer to adjust to the new sensor, but the idle and shifting issues have been resolved. Highly recommended.
