I am disappointed. NERF has built its reputation on safety and fun. These racquets are heavy and sturdy. Indoors, children ended up destroying the house or injuring each other. I tried this out on my badminton court and you have to hit the ball surprisingly hard to get it going anywhere because the racquet fabric is very fluffy. The same problem makes aiming harder as you hit the ball harder. This has less to do with the angle of the racquet and more to do with how far the ball hits the center of the racquet. When I finally hit the ball really hard, the roof came off my house. They just failed in all directions. Not safe enough to leave with kids and not functional enough to interest adults. The ball is a cheap open cell foam with a smooth surface. Where it gets wet, it will flood and degrade. The idea seems good, but the execution ruined everything.
