Review on 🚗 K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Boost Horsepower, 50-State Legal: Compatible with 2002-2005 CHEVROLET/OLDSMOBILE/GMC (TrailBlazer, Bravada, Envoy), Part 57-3036 by Duane Ramos

This will be my fourth K&N intake system on a car I own. I have always doubted all of them when buying, including this one. But they always seem to surprise me. The burst of power and the sound of cold powerful air rushing into the air intake is phenomenal! I can't help but push the pedal all the way down. Power is felt at all rpm ranges, but as you rev up the power only builds until the engine shifts into a higher gear, and then you do it over and over again. I built my own intake system at first, but there were bottlenecks and the K&N design simply removes all of the limitations, allowing for a significant increase in performance across the powerband. Amazing and high quality product, I did not use the cover provided to protect the air intake from the engine overheating as I read that it does not work very well. I have already made my own shroud and it works great with this system. I felt the intake pipe and filter after a hard ride and they were the same as the ambient temperature so I did a pretty good job of keeping my cold air intake cool. So I can't comment on the intake, but I'm pretty sure it pulls some heat out of the engine. I recommend adding your own insulation to reach your full consumption potential. It completely woke up my straight six along with my exhaust and engine tuning. If you decide to buy it, you won't regret it! You will only enjoy it.
