The ESSLNB vertical trinocular aperture biological microscope is for anyone who wants to explore the microscopic world. This is a solid device that is easy to use for young students with an interest in science as you don't have to read the manual to use it. It is also ideal for high school and university students, who want to use a real microscope outside of the classroom. It has a built-in blue filter which is an added bonus for upscaling brighter or even sharper objects. This filter flips outward when not in use, or can be positioned to varying degrees, giving you control over how much of the blue filter is applied to the subject. I highly recommend spending the extra money on a model with a vertical trinocular mount as it allows you to use your phone camera and look through the eyepieces at the same time. I have found it very useful to be able to view objects on my phone where I can zoom in for a better close-up and then take photos if I want to save a photo file of my objects. The dual-layer mechanical stage holds the slide securely and allows for smooth back-and-forth and side-to-side motion to scan the object while looking into the eyepieces.
