My situation is very special, but on my Lamborghini Jalpa I noticed when separating the front tie rods from the steering knuckle that the silver "claws" or part holding the joint was a bit wide and almost slipped over the joint. Luckily I managed to set the instrument on fire and clog the jaws a bit. The rest worked great! I usually wear safety goggles and cover my face when using any of these tools. The goggles stay put, but I felt comfortable enough with the build quality to use them with confidence. Excellent purchase!
