I love this little yellow pan for walnut bread and small loaves of homemade yeast bread. The porcelain is well made and just the right thickness to bake evenly and retain heat. I also like the ribbed top edge. This makes it easy to grab with my oven mitts, but also gives my bread room to "expand" on top as it bakes. The inner base is slightly narrower than traditional metal pans, but the volume matches my standard 9" x 5" bread pans. My yeast bread popped out as soon as it was done, and despite the slightly burned mess the dark brown sugar caused when it melted on my Pumpkin Spice Walnut Bread, a quick soak in hot water set it clear in no time. the pages are really nice. I am very pleased with this item and it seems to me that with proper care it will last for decades.
