Great Shocks - Fleetwood Flair Class A

These shocks are amazing and the driving has greatly improved on my 1999 Fleetwood Flair Class A. I added a Saf-T-plus steering stabilizer but still felt pretty loose on the road. Installed them for an OEM replacement and a huge improvement right away. Installation is fairly easy, but I recommend using pneumatic tools. It is very important to make something that can be very complex a simple task. Nuts on old shocks would be a nightmare with a standard socket and wrench. Also, these shocks extend fully when in hand. This means you have to squeeze them together to insert the mounting screws. I used a small floor jack and secured the top of the shock, then jacked it up until the floor was covered and slid it onto the frame. Pretty easy from there. Excellent shock absorbers and we also recommend a steering stabilizer. I have airbag springs. I make sure they are both at 60psi and everything is fine. If only we could rule out windy days!
