This scanner works fantastic! I've spent so much time over the years trying to get scanners to be recognized by the computer, and then finally getting them to work, only to have to start all over again the next time I use them. This scanner is activated automatically when you start the software or load the automatic feeder. It scans double-sided pages in auto-feed mode and does a good job. I was skeptical about paying that much for a scanner but I've had it for about 2 months now and I don't regret a penny of the purchase. I use it with a Macbook Pro and haven't had any compatibility issues. I believe Yosemite OS.
