They are comfortable and pleasant to the touch. I was looking for a balance between a thinner glove but just enough for warmth and wind protection. An added bonus is that they are still waterproof. I use them for cool weather fishing and cast relatively easily. I can handle my lures as if I wasn't wearing gloves and I can still feel the line delicately with my index finger. The molded grip pads are comfortable and firm. The touchscreen functionality works, but like any other glove, it's far from a perfect touch. Enough to wake and unlock my screen, but texting isn't that great. Now for the bad. You can see what happened in my photos after I put them on for the second time. I wore these gloves a total of 4 hours between 2 days and the seam ripped on the outside left of my palm. In this situation, the price does not give me the right to claim and waste time on the return. I'm not even here to whine about a refund. But I want everyone to know what to expect. If they did a double stitch or an even stronger thread, these gloves would be just about perfect. Also, I wore them on a hike in 38 degree weather and my hands started getting cold after about 30-40 minutes. In the end I sewed the seam myself and saved it. Heck I just bought them 2 weeks ago lol. *Updated 12/12/20, the texture of the handle has worn away with use. Easy to use, just wear it. or walking dogs on a leash. I would say flip a coin and if you don't buy it don't get discouraged.
