I have a 10 lb cat and this sits well on his neck with lots of extra room but it has an adjustable tip that the well keeps his. . The problem is that there is very little filling, and he can pile it up and still lick his back leg and stomach area, so it didn't work for me. I even ripped open the stitches and stuffed 4 times with stuffing but he was still able to lick the wound. As a result, I received a plastic cone of shame. :(
