Mostly Junk. Visit the Ubiquiti support forum and read about all the issues. Shape: Pretty shape but you can't screw it anywhere as there is no built-in bracket or even mounting holes. How it works: Mine is walled in. First, it wasn't possible to switch to a firmware version that didn't contain critical security vulnerabilities without actually removing the security check that the firmware version was compromised (read the forums). that's ridiculous. Second, tech support forced me to run functions that should have worked but didn't work because the quality is very poor. Example: Factory resetting the device saved all my authentication data (keys) on the device and didn't delete it. They justified it as a 'feature' so you wouldn't lose your keys (which you need to set up your switches and access points). If I do a factory reset, especially since I'm sending the device back, then I obviously don't care about storing the keys and logging in. and by the way, once the device was up and running again after the reset, it got stuck halfway between rebooting and logging in with the existing credentials. After overcoming that by hacking the device myself, I actually had a clean device. Migration from the existing controller to the new failed mid-migration, resulting in the old controller becoming unmanageable and the new controller being locked. With others on online forums, I've found that I'm not the only one. It's basically garbage.
