Review on πŸ” ULTRALOQ UL3 BT (2nd Gen) Smart Lock: Enhanced 5-in-1 Keyless Entry Electronic Door Handle in Sleek Black Design by Cody Bowie

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Has not lasted 4.5 months of use. Buyer Warning.

I bought this product for our home in the beach community. The door and lock are under a canopy and are not exposed to wind or rain but are outside under the house. We have a lot of friends and relatives so we thought this would be a great product. We installed this on 7/15/18. In September we had a friend who lived in the house and found it difficult to open the door. Only the admin code worked. Fast forward to 11:30:18 and I'm on my way down to let the mechanic in. The door said it would open and would not disengage the locking mechanism. Tried several times with phone, keyboard and fingerprint and it wouldn't open. I had to call a locksmith to open it, which they did in less than two seconds with an easily accessible item, they were able to enter the house. Upon further inspection of the lock I found that in less than 4.5 months noticeable ulcers appeared on the metal (see photos). This lock will never hold even if I replace it with a new one. I had to replace the lock immediately as I couldn't live without it. I contacted the manufacturer and informed them of the problem and they said they would replace it. I said I don't need a replacement, I want a refund. Unfortunately their product didn't last as it only lasted 4.5 months and fell apart. Rejected because I bought through Revain. Luckily the folks at Revain took this product away but I won't be buying it again. Their customer service team leaves something to be desired. Buy this product at your own risk for the external entry. The fact that it was taken down in such a short amount of time and that a locksmith could bypass it in less than two seconds should surprise you.
