Whatever it is, it's not tape. I am so sad and disappointed to find such a bad Scotch product. When I ordered it, it never occurred to me that the quality could be an issue. But on the other hand, this has been the fate of many respected brands and products; To keep the price down, the quality was reduced to the point that the product became unusable. In my experience it starts to lose its adhesion minutes to hours after applying this tape. Over the years I've tried and tried to find a use for this tape for projects with progressively lighter workloads. I'm amazed to say I didn't succeed. Two statements are true: 1. It is white.2. It's very easy to break it with your hands. Actually. It's easier than trying to cut it because it's too thin for scissors.
