Review on 🚚 Sportz Truck Tent Blue/Grey (Full Size Crew Cab 5.5-Feet Box) - Enhanced for SEO by Chad Cross

It can be helpful to have a friend for the initial setup.

If like me you haven't pitched a tent in ten years, this could be a problem. I had someone next to me who was way more competent than me and we installed it in fifteen minutes but if it was just me it would probably take an hour. It was waterproof but I still had some water inside the tent through the window facing the cabin and around the edges. The rain patch should be slightly larger if you expect rain. Also, if you don't like sleeping on a steel plate, I recommend getting an air mattress or something similar for the bed of your pickup truck. Steel acts as a heat sink rather than an insulator (like solid earth) and radiates heat away from you. In September I camped at about 9300ft and it was a bit chilly but I made it. In the afternoon I unhooked the rigging and hoisted it out of the truck so we could drive the SUV nearby. At the end of the day, two people can easily lift the tent back into the truck. I'll be using this for a while.
