IF YOU DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BANDS BEFORE FOLLOWING ALL OTHER INSTRUCTIONS, THE POSTS AND TENT WILL BE PROPERLY CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER. DISAPPOINTED! Bought to #optoutside this Black Friday. My wife and I installed it this afternoon and the tailgate strap had already snapped at the seam. The rest seemed fine, some of the bars had a bit of bumping to get into place but that's to be expected on first install. To be honest, I just can't get over a complete tear in the tailgate strap. I was seriously looking forward to this product and the adventures ahead, now I'm just looking for another tent until tomorrow.

I installed this before to familiarize myself with the assembly. I recently took him on a hike in sub-zero temperatures and he's proved a champion. Lots of windows and vents; all have screens and zip covers. I wish the rainfly was a few inches longer all the way around, but I've withstood light freezing rain with no leaks. I have to give this one three stars. I took it on a recent camping trip to Arkansas and it failed miserably. This was my third time using a tent. As others have said, the bar used to get in is too long. Unfortunately, the bar split first before both ends broke in half. I had to struggle to the front before the end of my three-day trek. If like me you haven't pitched a tent in ten years, this could be a problem. I had someone next to me who was way more competent than me and we installed it in fifteen minutes but if it was just me it would probably take an hour.
