I LOVE this shape! It's a beautiful, durable shape. It holds 1/2 cup of epoxy. I used the red and blue glitter that came with the mold as well as the alcohol ink that I bought earlier. I also added some heart shaped glitter that I had on hand. I set up my lights in a variety of ways until I settled on one I liked. If you do this earlier it will be much easier to place the lights. I poured about a quarter of the epoxy into the mold and then placed the lightbulbs. I let it dry for about 8 hours. Before removing, I went around the mold and gently tugged to loosen it. I carefully pulled out one section at a time. I had no problems at all. Once it was out I laid the piece down and pressed it down and then lifted it up and pressed it down to make sure it was the right shape. When I unmold it it was still soft enough to be flexible. He got up and looks great. The only thing I would like to change is that there were only 4-6 extra bulbs on the string of lights, but that's just my preference. As you can see, it shines beautifully.
