Review on Superior Pump 92551 Cast Pedestal by Juan Crane

I bought this pump as a spare, the switch on my main base broke on a rainy Christmas day leaving me stuck without a pump. When I got the Superior pump I went and installed it on the piping. Plugged it in and as others have said nothing but a buzz. At first I thought the pump was very quiet, which it is. but he pumped no water. I thought it might be necessary to increase the water pressure, but when I smelled hot stream I immediately turned off the suction cup. my cloaca. Otherwise he works after hours. Maybe it's better to look at another pump. The ground cable was newly stripped in the box. fixed that too. Hopefully the warranty will still be valid after I get the new unit working!?
